It’s time to get back out on the water! We make it easy at Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club. The Marina at Lake Blackshear opens on St. Patrick’s Day, making Spring Break a great time to load up the boat and take advantage of our spacious boat launch.

If you don’t have a boat, the Marina also offers an array of boat rental options. Celebrate the start of spring and rent a 12-person pontoon boat for time together on the water. Pack a picnic and make a day of cruising the lake. Pontoon boats are available for full- or half-day rentals or by the hour.

Load the kids up and try something new together. Paddleboards are available for rental for an affordable $20 an hour. The Marina also rents kayaks and canoes at the same rate.

Lake Blackshear spans more than 8,700 acres and is well stocked with bass, bream, crappie, and catfish. Cast a line and relax in the quiet coves of Lake Blackshear from a boat or off the bank in Georgia Veterans State Park. Camp in tents or bring the RV for an overnight retreat to one of Georgia’s most picturesque state parks or stay in the Lodge or Villas for a fishing resort experience. Georgia State fishing licenses are available at the park Visitors Center.

Cypress Grill Open for the Season

Enjoy a waterfront snack or lunch before heading back out on the water or wind down at the end of a fun-filled day with dinner and an amazing view. Opening for the season on March 17, Cypress Grill will be rocking with live music Friday and Saturday night throughout spring and summer.
